The historic yard with its yellow baroque castle is nestled into a beautiful landscape surrounded by lakes and forest. Just 20 minutes from Jindřichův Hradec and Telč, it is perfect to explore the beauty of Bohemia.
The castle dates back to 1725 and invites you on a small journey through time, with its antique grand piano and porcelain collection.
On the property, you’ll also find renovated event spaces — ideal for celebrations and cultural events.

History of the manor house
Palupin estate is located 17 km west of Telč in a village with the same name. It first appeared in written sources in 1350. At that time, it was a large estate, its original windows and a large walled-up portal remind of its central historic building.
During the Thirty-Year War the yard was badly damaged. In 1725 the old buildings were replaced with a new concept now including agricultural and administrative buildings. The former guesthouse was redesigned as a baroque chateau, which has survived to the present day.
Except for a short period in the years 1801-1803 Palupin was owned by bohemian-moravian nobility. The Count Blankenstein connected it with the neighbouring Battelau-estate in 1827. At the end of the 19th century Palupin was acquired by Arnold Wilhelm Schulz and his son Ernst.
In 1948 the whole complex was expropriated by the state. After 1989 it was returned to the owners’ descendants, unfortunately in a disastrous condition.
